Louis Poulsen - ph artichoke

Designed by Poul Henningsen
The PH Artichoke is a 360 degree glare free arrangement of overlapping reflecting panels (artichoke leaves) fabricated from baked white gloss enamel over steel, brushed stainless steel, or copper, all with matte white underside reflective surfaces. The leaves are supported by vertical chromated steel struts terminating to a mirrored baffle. The electrical assembly is concealed by a chrome plated mirror image collar.

An example of form

The image has shown a good example of form. The roofs of the buildings have became a line. The line represents the height or the right proportion of the building.

Go Green In The Building

It is a model of a building. I think it is interesting because the way they put the grasses at. They put them on the building, just like dressing the building. It is a modernize building with nature. I really want to know how did they make the model.

Cool Cube's picture

This is the same thing I show on "Cool Cube". It is a closer view, and see how they put together. I believe it is something about Math.

Cool Cube

Could hexagon fit inside all the surface of a cube? In this picture, we could see it is possible. I saw each angles of the cube are longer. Maybe, this is the way to put hexagon together!

Sketch 1

An Example of One-Point Perspective of my painting

It is one of the example of one point perspective in my paintings. I did that painting in high school. I used the green color to pop up the sign of Heinekin. I think I did a good job on the sign. We can see the painting is a one point perspective because the image has get smaller everytime it is closer to the point in the center of the picture. Bigger to smaller with one point in the middle or center of a picture is called "One Point Perspective". I really like to use black and white in my painting because that is the only thing I can do. I try to improve my coloring skill. Thank you for your support!

Upper View in Hong Kong

This one of my sketch of Hong Kong. It drew by last year in the beginning of Art class. I used pen to draw. So, it is little bit hard for a beginner like me. I guess, there still has some detail I didn't draw on it. I hope you can visit Hong Kong in the future. Enjoy!

Mongkok in Hong Kong

This is one of my concentrations I did in my AP Art. I did this painting on canvas with acrylic. It is one of my paintings with color. I don't like it that much because I always wasn't good in coloring. However, it is a great experience. Also, I missed that place so much.
